First Communion Dress Code

Do Not Wear The Following:

Any dress or skirt that does not completely cover the knees when sitting or standing
shorts of any kind
Dresses and tops that are tight-fitting, provocative, low-cut, bare midriff or sleeveless
Dresses or tops with spaghetti straps, with plunging necklines, that expose the bare shoulders or bare-back, or that are see-through
Dresses or skirts with high slits
Jeans with rips or tears
Any outfits with large logos or distracting messages
Flip flops or sneakers

No use lo siguiente:

Cualquier vestido o falda que no cubra completamente las rodillas al estar sentado o de pie.

For Girls/ Para Niñas

Girls may wear their communion gowns is they have them otherwise they must wear a church appropriate outfit.
A church appropriate outfit consists of
Dress, skirt, or pant. No Shorts Allowed
Dresses or skirts must be at or below knee length.
A blouse. No T- Shirts or tank tops.
If a child has a blouse or dress that is spaghetti strap or sleeveless, a cardigan must be worn over.
If a child is in jeans, they must be dark wash and have no rips or tears.
Dress shoes, flats, or sandals with backing is allowed. No sneakers or flip flops.
Children should be neat and modest in dress.

Las niñas pueden usar sus vestidos de comunión si los tienen, de lo contrario deben usar un atuendo apropiado para la iglesia.

For Boys/ Para Niños

Boys may wear their formal communion attire if they have them, otherwise they must wear a church appropriate outfit.
A church appropriate outfit consists of
Dress pant or dark wash jean with no rips or tears.
Button up shirt is preferred. No T- Shirts
Dress shoes. No flip flops or sneakers.
Children should be neat and modest in dress.
