Baptism Registration
Baptism is the first Sacrament celebrated in the journey to become a full member of the Catholic Church. The waters of Baptism symbolize life and death, washing and cleansing, and the mystery of new life out of death. Baptism welcomes adults and children into our Community of Faith and initiates them into the “Family of God.”
Please note at Good Shepherd Catholic Parish, there are three parts to prepare for Baptism:

Pay the $50 processing fees for each person that will be baptised.

Complete the registration form.

Participate with a class just prior to the Baptism service.
Please note that you will need to have an email address and valid credit card to complete this online process. If you would like to pay by check or cash, or need further assistance, please call the Parish Office at (559) 734-9522 during office hours.

Our parish will no longer offer online baptismal prep class for people baptizing children outside of our parish. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Baptism preparation classes are likely offered by the parish in which you are baptizing a child. Please contact the parish where the baptism will take place for preparation information. For those baptizing a child within our parish, the preparation class will take place on the day of the baptism. Please see the top of this page for more information.

Nuestra parroquia ya no está ofreciendo las clases de preparación para Bautismo vía internet para las personas que bautizan a sus niños fuera de nuestra Parroquia. Pedimos una disculpa por cualquier inconveniente que ésto pueda causar. Lo más probable es que las clases de preparación pre-bautismales sean impartidas en la parroquia en la cual su niño va a recibir el Bautismo. Por favor, póngase en contacto con la parroquia donde se llevará a cabo el Bautismo para obtener información sobre la preparación. Para aquellos que desean que su niño reciba el sacramento del Bautismo dentro de nuestra parroquia, la clase de preparación tendrá lugar el día del Bautismo.
