Good Shepherd Catholic Parish is a diverse parish and is part of the Diocese of Fresno governed by the Bishop. At the Parish, governance is led by our Pastor, along with support from our priests, deacons, staff, and various councils made up of parishioners. We engage parishioners and school families in the day-to-day work of our ministries.

Reverend Mr. Russ Bassett
Reverend Mr. Francisco Gomez
Deacon Gomez was born and raised in a Catholic family in Aguascalientes, Mexico. Happily married since 1996 with two beautiful daughters, he works as a Realtor serving Tulare, Kings and Fresno counties. Deacon Gomez responded to God’s call to service, right before he got married through an evangelization retreat he attended. Right after the retreat, he got involved in the Church, serving in different ministries throughout the years. Through the service in those ministries, he has developed a personal relationship with God, who has formed and shaped his faith, taking him to the Deaconate in 2019. Faith and family are what is most important in his life.
El Diácono Gómez, nació y creció en una familia católica en Aguascalientes, México. Esta felizmente casado desde 1996 y tiene dos hijas hermosas. Trabaja como agente de bienes y raíces sirviendo los condados de Tulare, Kings y Fresno. El Diácono Gómez respondió al llamado de Dios a servir, justo antes de casarse, a través de un retiro de evangelización al que asistió. Después del retiro, se involucró en la Iglesia, sirviendo en diferentes ministerios a través de los años. A través del servicio en esos ministerios, a desarrollando una relación personal con Dios, el cual lo a ido formando en su fe, llevándolo al Diaconado en 2019. Su fe y su familia son lo más importante en su vida.
Reverend Mr. Gary Hunt
Deacon Hunt began serving as a Deacon in October 2019. He has a Bachelor's degree in Criminology from California State University, Fresno and has worked in local Law Enforcement for 30 years. He has also worked as an instructor at local police academies. He has been married since 1990 and has 3 children and 5 grandchildren... and counting. He has a passion for evangelization and answering questions about Catholicism.
Reverend Mr. Henry Medina
Deacon Henry Medina attends to the needs of the parish through prayer, service, liturgy, and administration. He is uniquely qualified to serve as administrator, with a degree from USC, an MBA from Woodbury University, and attended the UCLA Executive Program and the Darden School of Business.
