Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Last week I wrote to you about a very special invitation to join with bishops from all over the United States in a prayer of re-consecration to the Blessed Mother to take place on this Friday, May 1. Archbishop Jose Gomez, the President of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB), is going to lead that prayer and has now shared with us the text that he will be using. I forward this to you, hoping that it will make it easier for those so inclined to follow along and pray along.
A you know, the month of May is a particularly special month during which we honor and remember the Mother of God. I encourage you to use the prayer of re-consecration for yourselves and your families throughout this coming month. As we continue to shelter in place for a while longer, I believe that this prayer can be another way for us transform our homes into beautiful domestic churches.

Queridos hermanos y hermanas,
La semana pasada les escribi sobre una invitaci6n especial para unirse a los obispos de los Estanos Unidos en una oraci6n de -re-consagraci6n a nuestra Santfsima Madre que se llevara a cabo el 1 ro de mayo. El Arzobispo Gomez, Presidente de la Conferencia Cat61ico de Obispos en los Estados Unidos (USCCB por sus siglas en ingles), dirigira esta oraci6n y ha compartido con nosotros el texto que utilizara. Les envio este texto con la esperanza de que faciliten a aquellos que esten dispuestos a orar con nosotros.
Como ustedes saben, el mes de mayo es un mes particularmente especial durante el Cual honramos y recordamos a la Madre de Dios. Les animo a usar la oraci6n de reconsagraci6n para ustedes y sus familias durante el pr6ximo mes. A medida que continuamos con el distanciamiento social por un tiempo mas, creo que esta oraci6n puede ser otra forma de transformar nuestros hogares en hermosas iglesias domesticas.
