On November 30, 2021, we’ll unite for a worldwide celebration of generosity. Giving Tuesday is an opportunity for people around the parish to come together through generosity in all its forms by sharing acts of kindness and giving their financial support to God’s work at Good Shepherd Catholic Parish.

Everyone has something to give and

every act of generosity counts.

There are three opportunities to participated in Giving Tuesday:

Increase your support of the St. Charles building project. There are still opportunities, and you can start your support here: https://www.stcharlesvisalia.org.

Your gift to the Bethlehem Center, allows us to continue proving pantry boxes and freshly prepared daily breakfast, lunch and provisions for dinner. The Bethlehem Center now depends entirely on the generosity of personal and corporate gifts. Learn more here:  https://www.bethcenter.org

Establish or reestablish your tithing plan for 2022. We bring together the resources you need for prayer, involvement, registration and your weekly gifts. It is all found here: https://www.gscparish.com/tithethegap

If you prefer, you can send you check by mail.  On the memo, please indicate what the gift represents.  Example: $1000 check, 30% to Bethlehem Center, 30% Tithe, 40% for St Charles. Then drop your check in the mail:

Giving is a freeing experience as it connects us more closely to God relationally. The ultimate outcome is that those who give as stewards experience a sense of intimacy with God that all followers of Christ long for. Giving becomes worship. Giving becomes a way of saying thanks be to God for His grace and promised provision.

Proverbs 3:9 says, “Honor the LORD with your wealth, with the first fruits of all your crops."

As your Pastor, can I count on you to make this the best Giving Tuesday in parish history?

God’s Blessings
